    I too would like to know other texts that would have similar themes. I would like to set them up in our library so that reluctant readers who connect with Octopus might use it as a stepping stone to read others with similar themes.

    Also, Newsela has quite a few articles to pick from.

      Thanks for the ideas! I was wondering if Newela would be a good pairing. The list of books is great!

    There was an MG@Heart book club pairing Octopus & Everlasting Nora.
